Work has already started on Memorial Drive and will continue through fall, then resume in spring, targeting trouble spots like areas near the 198 and other aging infrastructure.

Buffalo Museum of Science opens $3M Science Stadium exhibit with Bills, Sabres and Bandits (wkbw.com) — Buffalo families can explore a brand-new $3 million Science Stadium exhibit at the Buffalo Museum of Science starting this Saturday, blending hands-on STEM learning with pro sports themes from the Bills, Sabres, and Bandits. The exhibit, plus a "Built for Buffalo" stadium engineering display, aims to show kids and adults how science powers everything from game-day performance to stadium design.
   

3. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez visits Buffalo as statewide tour to motivate voters begins (nystateofpolitics.com) — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stopped in Buffalo Thursday to train local Democrats on turning out infrequent voters who risk being purged from the rolls if they skip November's election. She met with Mayor Sean Ryan and emphasized Buffalo's importance, while nearby Republican lawmakers criticized what they describe as socialist policies and a growing leftward shift in the Democratic Party.
   

4. Finding The Dream Job: Recruiters in Buffalo, New York Help Hundreds Apply for CBP Roles (cbp.gov) — Buffalo residents recently had a major opportunity to connect directly with U.S. Customs and Border Protection recruiters at a two-day Department of Homeland Security career expo in the city, drawing nearly 1,100 job seekers. More than 500 people applied for CBP roles on-site, with 179 receiving same-day tentative offers, highlighting strong local interest in mission-driven federal careers along the northern border.
   

5. Andy Williams Celebration Of Life To Be Livestreamed September 27 (themosh.net) — Fans in Buffalo and beyond can join a celebration of life for musician and wrestler Andy Williams on September 27 at Buffalo RiverWorks, with the memorial also livestreamed for those who can't attend. The event will feature tributes and acoustic performances from members of Cave In, Four Year Strong, and Circa Survive, with related merchandise sales supporting Williams' favored charities.
