• PHOTOS: Monument honors Burdett's historical significance (observer-review.com) — A new monument honoring Burdett’s Haudenosaunee ceremonial high ground has been dedicated in the village park next to Overlook Coffee Co. Local historian Marty Evans, the Schuyler County Historical Society, and village officials teamed up for a talk and ceremony that spotlighted Burdett’s role in regional history. The marker will be permanently installed on a concrete slab at the site.
