Bushwick Toddler Falls Three Stories, Bounces On Awning And Survives: NYPD

The 2-year-old girl landed feet-first when she bounced from the awning of a weight loss center Monday night, police said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A 2-year-old girl survived a three-story fall when she landed on a store awning beneath her apartment window earlier this week, police said.

The little girl fell out the window on the third floor, bounced on the awning of a weight loss center on the first floor then landed on the sidewalk feet first, police said. The toddler fell from her home on the corner of Stanhope Street and Cypress Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn, around 9 p.m. Monday, said police.

She was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where she was treated for two fractures in her left and right femur bones, said police.
