Christopher Kelly was arrested for his repeated and unsuccessful attempts to rob Brooklyn banks, police said

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — An aspiring bank robber who was repeatedly refused money by Brooklyn bank tellers was arrested Tuesday morning, said police.
Christopher Kelly, 41, was charged with attempted robbery for failing to stick up two banks in Bushwick and Fort Greene earlier this month, police said.
The would-be bank robber first struck at the Bank of America at Knickerbocker Avenue and Stanhope Street on Feb. 20, when he passed a teller a note demanding cash, which was refused, police said.
