Drink Beer, Talk Buses And Whine About The L Train In Bushwick
A local startup is hosting a cocktail party for those interested in "schmoozing and nerding out about New York City's bus network."

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Drink beer and talk buses this month when a Bushwick startup discusses alternative routes during the impeding L train shutdown.
CARTO, a new mapping data startup, will host a cocktail hour 6:30 p.m. on July 25 where neighborhood commuters will discuss how modern technology can improve city buses during next year's L train extravaganza.
“New York’s buses are lifelines, but their unreliability means they’re often as frustrating as they are necessary,” wrote Buses, Beers and Bytes organizers. “That will be truer than ever when the L train tunnel closes for repairs.”
