Man Assaulted Teen On Bushwick L Train, Police Say

Police are looking for the man who snuck up behind a 16-year-old girl on a Manhattan-bound L train last week.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A brave teen snapped photos of the man who accosted her on a Manhattan-bound L train last Tuesday, police said.

The suspect snuck up behind a 16-year-old girl as the L train approached the DeKalb Avenue subway station near Wyckoff Avenue around 7:35 a.m. on Feb. 6, said police.

The man began touching the girl from behind, and when she turned to confront him he ran from the train and into the station, police said.

But before he could escape, the girl quickly grabbed her phone and shot several photos of the suspect, whom police describe as a man in his late 20s wearing a blue hooded jacket.

Anyone with information about this person is asked to contact police.
