Bushwick Dad Shot Dead On Father's Day: Police And Reports

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A man was shot dead in Bushwick on Father's Day early Sunday morning, police said.
William Fernandez, 33, was shot in the chest on the corner of Bushwick Avenue and Beaver Street at about 12 a.m., police said.
Fernandez was on his way to spend Father's Day with his three sons and daughter in their Bed-Stuy home, according to a Daily News report.

Emergency responders rushed him to Elmhurst General Hospital but doctors could not save his life, said police.
No arrests had been made as of Monday morning, according to police.
