Person Struck By L Train In Bushwick, Officials Say
Emergency responders rushed to the Dekalb Station Friday morning after a person was struck, MTA and FDNY officials said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A person was struck by a Manhattan-bound L train during rush hour Friday morning, officials said.
The person was hit at the Dekalb Avenue station in Bushwick around 9:25 a.m., MTA and FDNY officials said.
Emergency responders rushed the person to Elmhurst Hospital in serious condition, said an FDNY spokeswoman.

One straphanger posted video of firefighters crawling underneath an L train stopped at the station, and another said she'd witnessed the collision.

L train service between Brooklyn and Manhattan was suspended, the MTA announced on Twitter. Eighth Avenue-bound service ended at Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway-bound service ended at Lorimer Street, according to an MTA.
