Instagram Star Tekashi69 Held By Cops During Brooklyn Video Shoot
Video shows the Brooklyn-born Instagram celebrity being escorted into a police car in front of hundreds of fans, said police.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Rap star Tekashi69 was detained by police Tuesday afternoon after a music video shoot in Brooklyn drew hundreds of unruly fans.
Video posted on Twitter Tuesday afternoon shows Tekashi69 — also known as 21-year-old Daniel Herandez — being escorted into a police car on Sterling Place near Buffalo avenue around 3:50 p.m., said police.

Tekashi69, who had been filming a music video in Crown Heights when about 400 fans thronged the streets, was driven to the 77th precinct but not charged with a crime, police said.

The Instagram celebrity recently made headlines for the role he played in a child sex abuse lawsuit that involved a 13-year-old girl.
The Bushwick native was also involved in a violent brawl in Los Angeles International Airport, TMZ reported.
