Woman Wakes To Find Stranger Exposing Himself In Her Bedroom, Police Say

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A woman awoke to find a man standing over her bed and exposing his genitals to her in her bedroom, according to police.

The suspect had crept up the fire escape, through an open window, and into the 30-year-old woman’s apartment on Greene Avenue at around 6:45 a.m. on March 25, police said.

The man then tried to get into the bed but the woman fought him off and he fled through her bedroom door, said police.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his early 20s who is about 4-foot-5 and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a hooded sweatshirt, according to police.

The suspect — who had not been apprehended as of Friday afternoon — was caught on surveillance footage which the police released Thursday.
