• Judge rules against Blackhead developers, Cairo board (dailygazette.com) — A state Supreme Court judge has thrown out the Cairo Planning Board’s environmental sign-off for the large Blackhead Mountain Resort proposal in Round Top, saying the board failed key review obligations. The ruling questions the project’s water and energy impacts and faults how public input and environmental forms were handled, sending developers and town officials back to the drawing board on this 102‑acre plan.
