• Group aims to 'finish' Hornellsville Civil War monument, 136 years later (bluewaterhealthyliving.com) — A new effort involving the Canisteo Valley Historical Society is working to finally add the names of Hornellsville Civil War soldiers to the long-unfinished monument in Hope Cemetery. Local residents can support the project now through tax-deductible donations mailed to the society in Arkport, helping determine whether 110 or up to 180 names are ultimately inscribed.
