Got Read? Take the Heart Challenge at LICH (You, too, Guys!)

 Long Island College Hospital (LICH) will be participating in National Go Red for Women Day on Friday, February 4th, 2011. The Go Red Movement is a national movement founded by the American Heart Association to help raise awareness about the No. 1 killer of American women; heart disease and stroke.

LICH will be providing free blood pressure screenings, giveaways and prizes, together with educational materials about heart disease and stroke. The event will be held in the Main Lobby of 339 Hicks Street from 11am - 1 pm.

 Additionally, the LICH Cardiology Department is hosting 3 challenges to all participants:

 Most reduced Blood Pressure over 3 months

  1. Longest distance walked in 3 months
  2. BEST RED OUTFIT
