Are you a musician, performer or visual artist who wants to start selling your own merch but can't figure out where to start? Or do you have some items already, but they aren't selling and you'd like to know why?
In this two-session course, participatns will talk about why you need merch, what items are most popular, how product gets made, the do's and don'ts of merch, and how to mine your own work for inspiration for a great design. They'll dive in to merch production by taking simple designs and creating reusable stencils. Each student will leave the class with their very first merch item (a tee or tote bag) as well as the know-how to produce their own start-up merch line to sell online and at shows.
