Radiant Health NYC, a branch of the Brooklyn Acupuncture Project dedicated to bringing awareness of healthy food choices to the community through lectures, workshops, and support groups, teams up at the Brooklyn Zen Center with Theresa Morelli, Natural Food Chef, for an informative, inspiring, interactive cooking intensive.
The first of a three-class-series focused on seasonal eating, this workshop will address all the possibilities of the spring pallet while maintaining a mindful presence to our food sourcing and selection, preparation, and eating. Theresa will guide you through cooking methods, cutting skills, and planning techniques that will minimize your food budget and time in the kitchen while maximizing the benefits of wholesome seasonal meals.
Each dish will also address one or more of the following dietary restraints: vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free, wheat free, and Candida. Together we will make a seasonal and nurturing feast for all others to follow!
