• Cato man charged after cocaine allegedly found during transport (fingerlakes1.com) — A Cato resident has been charged with drug possession after Cayuga County deputies say cocaine was found while he was being transported in custody following an earlier arrest tied to a July 24 domestic incident in the town. Authorities allege he tried to discard the substance in the Public Safety Building parking lot, and he remains held at the county jail.
