• East Hill Medical Center marks National Health Center Week in Auburn (fingerlakes1.com) — East Hill Medical Center is celebrating National Health Center Week while preparing a major expansion of its Grant Avenue facility that serves one in four Auburn residents and one in nine Cayuga County residents. The nonprofit plans new spaces, added services and better access to primary, dental and behavioral care. Staff and patients are being recognized with appreciation events throughout the week.

• Trumansburg man charged with drug possession in Scipio (fingerlakes1.com) — Cayuga County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Trumansburg man in the town of Scipio after responding to a dispute near an outdoor fire, later charging him with misdemeanor drug possession. Deputies say they found suspected methamphetamine while detaining him on an Ithaca warrant. He was released with a Scipio court date and then turned over to Ithaca police.
