• Center Moriches Adds Dobbs Ferry After Football Cancellation (southshorepress.com) — Center Moriches High School's Red Devils football team has filled the gap left by Port Jefferson canceling its season by scheduling a home game against Dobbs Ferry on Sept. 4. The team still keeps the forfeit win and power points from Port Jefferson, giving players both a competitive opener and the standings boost. Fans can now plan on real Friday night football to kick off 2026.
