Center Moriches Crash Leads To Car Hitting Fence, Utility Pole: Police

The crash took place Saturday in Center Moriches, police say.

CENTER MORICHES, NY — Two drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a crash in Center Moriches Saturday.

According to Suffolk County Police, seventh precinct officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at 12:45 p.m. on August 13, during which a 2021 Lexus traveling eastbound sideswiped a 2008 Pontiac also traveling eastbound on Montauk Highway in Center Moriches.

The Lexus then veered off the road and struck a fence and utility pole, police said.

Both drivers were taken to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue for treatment, police said.
