Man Caught Driving Drunk In Eastport: Cops

He was stopped for multiple traffic violations, police say.

EASTPORT, NY — A Remsenburg man was cuffed after he was caught driving while intoxicated in Eastport, police said.

According to New York State Police, Guillermo Salvador-Tecum, 25, was arrested on Feb. 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for multiple violations while he heading east on Montuak Highway and Seatuck Ave., in Eastport.

An investigation at the scene found Salvador-Tecum to be intoxicated, police said.

Salvador-Tecum was transported back to New York State Police Barracks Riverside where he provided a breath sample of .16% B.A.C., police said.

He is due back at Suffolk County 1st District Court on March 9.
