Man Charged With DWI After Crashing Into Shrubs: Police
He was arrested in Eastport Thursday night, police say.
EASTPORT, NY — A Manorville man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash in Eastport Thursday, police said.
James Lovrin, 34, was arrested and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, at 6:21 p.m. on Tuttle Avenue and Montauk Highway, police said. He struck curbing and several small shrubs in the single-vehicle crash, police said.
Lovrin was arrested, transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for arrest processing, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
