Man Charged With String Of Home Burglaries: Police
A tablet and a backpack were among items stolen, police say.

CENTER MORICHES, NY —A Center Moriches Man was charged with multiple residential burglaries in recent weeks, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, Aubrey Hill, 51, was arrested on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
Police said Hill entered a residence on Wading River Road in Center Moriches and stole a backpack and a tablet on Saturday at 11:10 a.m. Following an investigation, Hill was arrested in front of his Railroad Ave. residence, police said.

Further investigation by Seventh Squad detectives revealed that Hill had burglarized a residence on Clinton St. in Center Moriches between Friday and Saturday, and a residence on Neville St. in Center Moriches on Jan. 14, police said.
Hill also pawned items stolen from residences on Chichester Ave. in Center Moriches on Jan. 14 and Railroad Avenue in Manorville on Dec. 17, police said.

Hill was charged with three counts of second degree burglary, one count of fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, and one count of fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
He is scheduled for arraignment Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
