Man Stole Plants From Farm Stand: Cops
Assorted potted and ornamental plants were stolen from a local farm stand, police say.

CENTER MORICHES, NY — The search is on for a man who stole plants from a farm stand in Moriches, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who, on July 7, stole assorted potted and ornamental plants from LaCorte’s Farm Stand, located at 339 Montauk Highway, police said.
The suspect was described as a white or hispanic male with a medium build; he has tattoos on his upper right arm, a beard and was wearing a baseball cap, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
