Moriches Man Caught Speeding Drunk: Police
He was nabbed on Sunrise Highway, police say.
MORICHES, NY — A Moriches man was cuffed after he was caught driving drunk and speeding in Hampton Bays, police said.
According to New York State Police, on August 11 at 4:11 a.m., Jorge A. Sinche Jr., 28, was driving on Sunrise Highway east of Exit 65 in Hampton Bays, stopped for speeding and found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .12%.
Sinche was arrested, charged with driving while intoxicated, released on an appearance ticket, and is due back at Southampton Justice Court on Aug. 20, police said.
