EASTPORT, NY — Students were injured in a crash between a car and school bus Friday in Eastport, officials said.

The crash took place just before 3 p.m. when a car and a school bus, with kids onboard, collided between Tuttle Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road; both vehicles were heading east, the Eastport Fire Department confirmed.

The Eastport Fire Department, Westhampton War Memorial Ambulance, and Southampton Town Police responded, officials said.
