Teenage Girl Shoved, Robbed In Central Park, Police Say
The girl's cellphone was stolen as she was walking in the park, police said.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — A teenage girl was attacked and robbed while walking Tuesday night in Central Park, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
The 15-year-old girl was walking on West Drive near West 106th Street around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday when a man approached her and shoved her to the ground, police said. The man stole the girl's cellphone and fled the scene, police said.
The girl refused medical treatment at the scene, police told Patch.

Police are searching for a suspect, described only as a man in his 20s, an NYPD spokesman told Patch. As of Wednesday morning the suspect's identity is unknown and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
