A 19-year-old Ossining woman died this morning in a one-car collision on the Taconic State Parkway near the Croton Reservoir.
State police were called to the scene at about 5:39 a.m. May 11.
Investigation revealed that a 2004 Nissan Maxima, operated by Veronica Fernanda Cacho-Morocho, was traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway. The Nissan left the roadway off the left shoulder at about mile post marker 12.1, and subsequently struck a tree.
Cacho-Morocho was pronounced dead at the scene by the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office.
