A.G. Williams Painting Company headed to Armonk recently to partake in three fundraising events benefiting North Castle Public Library. The painting firm helped sponsor these events as a part of their continued giveback program.

The 53rd Annual Armonk Art Show, which included free guided tours, emerging artists and family activities, has been consistently ranked as one of the top fine art shows in the New York Metro Area as well as nationwide by publications like Sunshine Artist Magazine and Art Fair Sourcebook. The show started as a means to raise money for the North Castle Public Library and has continued to do so while growing in size and participation each year since 1961.

The company’s giveback program is important to them and they’ve spent the last century doing right not only by their employees, but also by the community. Some of the other charities they supported include: Americares, Cerebral Palsy of Westchester, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, New Rochelle Boys and Girls Club, Sherman Park Little League, Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless, Support Connection and United Way.

“We are very active with our community give back program and libraries are an important part of our efforts,” said Armonk resident, Liane Rigano and Color Consultant for A.G. Williams Painting Company. “The library is a place for everyone and lifetime learning is something we stongly support.”

A.G. Williams was also a sponsor of the Apple Cider & Donut Festival this year, which featured games, prizes, live music and seasonal activities for all ages, and Jamie’s 5k “Run for Love,” a 1-mile run held in memory of Byram Hills runner and loyal member of the North Castle Public Library, Jamie Love. Both events, in addition to the art show, were held in cooperation with the Friends North Castle Public Library.
