Gedney Park
Korth & Shannahan is the proud sponsor of the 2013 Gedney Pond Fishing Derby presented by the New Castle Recreation and Parks Department. The event is to be held in Gedney Park on Sunday, April 21st from 8:30am - 11:00am. The derby is available to all ages, from 6 to 60+. Prizes will be awarded in each age group for the biggest fish caught and the most fish caught. Everyone must bring their own fishing gear/supplies and free bait will be given to each registered person/family. Bob's Sport and Tackle will be available for anyone who needs to purchase supplies for the derby.

Program is free, but registration is required! Registration forms are available
at the Recreation Office in Town Hall and on the Recreation & Parks Department page of the Town website, www.mynewcastle.org. The event registration form must be submitted to the Recreation Office, 200 South Greeley Avenue, by Friday, April 12th. This event is rain or shine. All participants 16 and over must obtain a fishing license.
