Evan Lieberman, a 19-year-old Chappaqua resident and Horace Greeley High School graduate, passed away on Monday from complications related to a Route 6 car crash on June 16, The Daily News reported.
Lieberman was a student at the University of Connecticut, and was mourned by more than a thousand people at his Wednesday funeral, the paper reported.
Rabbi David Greenberg of Bedford's Temple Shaaray Tefila presided over the service. He said, "Evan embodied the best that we've hoped for in our children by way of character and actions of goodness," the paper reported.
