Arrest Made In Mount Kisco Pedestrian Hit-And-Run

A 53-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a Toyota RAV4 at the intersection of Boltis Street and Main Street.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — An unlicensed driver has been charged in last week's hit-and-run in Mount Kisco.

Westchester County police arrested the unlicensed driver in connection with the hit-and-run in Mount Kisco that left a pedestrian seriously injured on Jan. 30.

Israel Cazanga, 63, of Moore Avenue was taken into custody as a result of an investigation by detectives assigned to the Mount Kisco Precinct. Cazanga was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and driving without a license.

He was issued an appearance ticket requiring him to appear in Mount Kisco Justice Court on Feb. 26.

A 53-year-old man suffered serious injuries on Jan. 30 when he was struck by a Toyota RAV4 at the intersection of Boltis Street and Main Street shortly before 6 p.m. He was taken by ambulance to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla and admitted.
