MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which the Westchester County Police responded in the village.
Friday, Jan. 6 – 11:15 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Turner Lane after receiving a request to check on a man who was sitting in his car and hadn’t moved since 7 a.m. The man told officers he was feeling fine and was simply napping while he waited to pick up a friend who works in the area.
8:30 a.m. – Matthew Brewster, 20, of St. Marks Place was charged with Assault 2 nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 3 rd Degree, felonies, following an altercation at his home. He is accused of punching another person and shattering a window and other items during the dispute. Two Westchester County Police officers suffered minor injuries while placing Brewster under arrest.

Thursday, Jan. 5 – 6:28 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Northern Westchester Hospital Center after an employee of an auto dealership on North Bedford Road reported that a car drove over his foot and injured him as it left the dealership lot. The employee was unable to provide a description of the vehicle.
Tuesday, Jan. 3 –10:49 p.m. – An employee at an auto dealership on North Bedford Road reported to Westchester County Police that someone removed eight New York State inspection stickers from a file cabinet in the service department. The theft occurred sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 2.

11:32 p.m. – A resident of 200 Diplomat Drive called Westchester County Police to complain about loud music coming from a neighbor’s apartment. Officers spoke with the neighbor who agreed to turn the music down.
8:36 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to West Main Street after a vehicle lost a tire and was blocking the road. The disabled vehicle was towed from the scene.
Sunday, Jan. 1 – 10:36 p.m. – A resident of Maple Avenue called Westchester County Police to report that he observed a man with a bloody nose lying at the bottom of a staircase. The caller also said he also saw another man running from the scene and feared the injured man had been assaulted. When officers responded, the injured party was found to be highly intoxicated and unable to say whether he had fallen down the stairs or had been assaulted by another person. The man was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for evaluation of his injury.
