Bicycle World helps make holiday dreams come true for 60 riders!

Bicycle World in Mt Kisco donates over 60 bikes to families in need this holiday season.

Bicycle World in Mount Kisco donated over 60 bikes to the Northern Westchester Boys and Girls Club and the Northern Westchester Community Center for the 7th year in a row. Each year, Bicycle World accepts donations of gently used bikes from local residents, and takes bikes from their own inventory, to recondition and donate to riders in the community. Bicycle World's mechanics spend weeks repairing the bikes so that they can be donated to riders from these worthy organizations.

The Boys and Girls Club in Mount Kisco received over 30 bikes and helmets for children and young adult riders who are members of their organization. The Northern Westchester Community Center in Katonah also received over 30 bikes and helmets for children, teens, and adults. For many children, getting a bicycle at the holidays is a dream come true, and many of the adult recipients use the bikes for more practical purposes, like commuting to work.

Bicycle World would like to thank everyone in the community who has helped with bike donations over the years. For additional information about donating a bike, please contact Bicycle World at info@bicycleworldny.com or 914-666-4044.
