Bones in the Yard; Dispute at Hospital; House Fire: Mount Kisco Police Blotter
Westchester County police share some of the calls to which they responded last week.

Westchester County police responded to a number of calls in their coverage of Mount Kisco. Here is a sampling:
Friday, July 15 – 3:53 p.m. – A resident of Stewart Place reported that she was threatened by a neighbor during a dispute over use of the building’s elevator. An investigation is continuing.
3:13 p.m. – A resident of West Main Street reported that her dogs had dug up some bones while playing in her yard. The bones were determined to be animal bones.

11:06 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the Boys & Girls Club on Main Street on a report that an elderly woman was possibly having a stroke. The woman was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mount Kisco.
Thursday, July 14 – 10:21 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Northern Westchester Hospital Center on a report of a family dispute. One of the parties to the dispute was escorted from the hospital.

9:28 p.m. – Westchester County Police assisted an elderly woman on Sands Street who was having trouble breathing. The woman was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
Tuesday, July 12 – 7:15 p.m. – Westchester County Police received a report that two men were drinking in a car in a parking lot on Carpenter Avenue. The vehicle was gone upon an officer’s arrival.
2:28 p.m. – A woman came to the county police precinct on Green Street to report that her car was broken into while it was parked in a lot on Dakin Avenue between July 5 and July 11. A flashlight, handicapped parking placard and $10 in quarters were stolen.
2:26 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a business on Lexington Avenue after receiving a 911 hang-up call. A woman at the business told an officer she had dialed the number in error.
3:18 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Maple Avenue on a report that four men were arguing loudly in the street. The men agreed to disperse following an officer’s arrival.
Sunday, July 10 – 9:40 a.m. – Westchester County Police and the Mount Kisco Fire Department responded to a home on East Ridge Lane on a report of a fire. The fire, which began inside the home, was extinguished by someone in the house before first responders arrived. A man and two children who were home at the time were not injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
