Book Festival and Bake Sale are On, Rain or Shine!
Bell Middle School in Chappaqua will be jumping on Saturday.

On Saturday, the more than 85 renowned children’s book authors and illustrators participating in the 2015 Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival will be inside Bell Middle School.
It’s still set for 10am – 4pm. Admission and parking are free.
The 6th Annual Great Chappaqua Bake Sale will be there, selling baked treats and raffle tickets to benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry mission to end childhood hunger.

“The weather won’t stop The Great Chappaqua Bake Sale from making a big difference in the fight against childhood hunger!” said Great Chappaqua Bake Sale co-founder Allison Spiegel in an email. “We will be located on the main floor in the main hallway connecting the gym and the auditorium.”

Activities to include:
o Pinkalicious Author Victoria Kann, signing books from 1-4pm
o The Mike Risko Band to provide lunchtime music in the Food for Thought food court
o Dance party by Hal Prince
o Shiny Penny Chemistry with Regeneron
o Bubble Mix – make your own bubble solution and bubble wand
o Magic Shows at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm, sponsored by Tom Guiliante/Prudential
o Hudson Valley Llamas, sponsored by Chappaqua Learning Center
o GaGa, life-size games and airbrush tattoos courtesy of Kiwi Country Day Camp
o A musical instrument “petting zoo” from Amadeus Conservatory of Music
o PLUS, crafts activities, face-painting, costumed characters, gift giveaways, balloon twisting and more
Food available for purchase will include:
o BBQ from Chappaqua’s Le Jardin du Roi
o Healthy, inventive food from Skinny Buddha Organic Kitchen in Mt. Kisco
o Wood-fired pizza from Mobile Pie Pizza Truck
