Break-in; Theft from Unlocked Car; Unruly Patient: Mount Kisco Police Blotter
Here are some of the incidents the Westchester County Police responded to in the past week.

Friday, Sept. 18 – 12:56 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to South Bedford Road at Woodcrest Lane on a report that a disabled vehicle was blocking traffic. A tow truck was called to the scene.
12:27 p.m. – A resident of Maple Avenue contacted Westchester County Police to report an illegally parked vehicle near her home. A summons was issued.
Thursday, Sept. 17 – 6:03 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a residence on Allen Lane on an activated burglar alarm. The home was checked and there was no sign of entry. The homeowner was notified that the alarm had sounded in error.

3:50 p.m. – A motorist reported that his vehicle was damaged by a hit-and-run driver as he was exiting the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway at Route 133. The complainant described the vehicle that struck his as a white 4-door Chevy sedan that continued north on the parkway.
2:14 p.m. – A Honduran national came to the Westchester County Police precinct on Green Street to report that his passport was missing. The man said he was required to file a police report before requesting a replacement from the Honduran consulate.

11:45 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a parking lot off South Moger Avenue on a report that a propane tank was left unattended there. The item was deemed to be non-hazardous and it was removed by the Department of Public Works.
7:29 a.m. – A resident reported that several items were stolen from her car while it was parked overnight near 239 Main Street. A digital camera, phone charger, perfume and personal papers were stolen from the car, which had been left unlocked.
Wednesday, Sept. 16 – 6:26 p.m. -- An employee of an eatery on South Moger Avenue reported that a teenager on a skateboard was causing a disturbance and interfering with customers trying to enter or leave his store. The teen was gone upon an officer’s arrival.
3:05 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at a travel agency at 3 North Moger Avenue. Patrol officers discovered that the front window to the store had been shattered in an apparent burglary attempt. A witness described seeing two men in gray hoodies run from the scene. Officers canvassed the area but could not locate the men. Detectives are continuing to investigate.
Tuesday, Sept. 15 – 9:43 a.m. – A village resident reported that he was struck by a car coming out of a driveway as he rode his bicycle the previous Friday along the sidewalk on Lexington Avenue. The man said he did not initially report the incident but decided to do so because he had just learned he had a fractured wrist.
Sunday, Sept. 13 – 1:47 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the emergency room at Northern Westchester Hospital Center on a report that a patient was being disruptive. The patient subsequently agreed to comply with hospital staff.
