Briarcliff High School Names Poetry Out Loud Winners

The students competed for a chance to move on to the regional competition.

From the Briarcliff schools

Several Briarcliff High School students were chosen to participate in a school wide Poetry Out Loud competition on Dec. 19 – Jillian Agona, Maddy Albert, Olivia Banc, Kamal Keerthy and Sophie Underwood.

The five students were selected to participate from their English classes and recited their poems to fellow students in the auditorium.

Congratulations to Agona and Banc for winning the competition. They will represent Briarcliff High School at the Mid-Hudson Regional Competition on Feb. 25 at Purchase College.
