Briarcliff Manor Writer Among Authors at Chappaqua Children's Book Festival

Mark the date: Sept. 27.

Among the more than 80 authors who will appear at the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival Sept. 27, to meet fans, make new ones, and sign books, will be Laura Scott, writer of picture books Where is Love, Achoo and Pugbug & the Ticklish Garden.

Scott said she will also use the popular annual event to debut Book 1 of her chapter book series, The Crumbles Chonicles: Tails of a Nervous Dog. The narrator in the series is Crumbles himself, a quirky rescue dog. Book 1 is called Battle of the Paper Bags.

“Kids at the festival will be the first kids anywhere to be able to buy copies,” Scott said.
