CHAPPAQUA, NY — The Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival is Saturday. The seventh-annual, this event is eagerly awaited every year because of the book authors and illustrators you can meet, the events to enjoy, and the community organizations participating.

There will be books for sale, book signings, demonstrations and fun activities including the Bubble Bus, art projects highlighting books at the Festival, mural painting, juggling and walking the tightrope, hair braiding and learning a musical instrument.

And don't forget the food. The Great Chappaqua Bake Sale sells baked treats and raffle tickets to benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry mission to end childhood hunger. Plus there will be Gourmet Food Court with “Food For Thought” food trucks from around the region offering great eats.
