Chappaqua Crossing to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony March 1

Summit/Greenfield Partners will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for Chappaqua Crossing March 1 at 480 Bedford Road in Chappaqua.

The developer has spent 11 years before the town of New Castle as its plans for the old Readers Digest property went through various iterations in the teeth of strenuous opposition.

In addition to Summit/Greenfield, local and regional elected officials are expected to attend, as are representatives from Whole Foods and Life Time Fitness, two of the largest retailers going into the commercial section of the development.

The planned community, will also offer flexible office and medical space and will feature 91 luxury townhomes as well as affordable housing.
