Chappaqua DAR Member Installed on NY State Board of Management
Honorary Regent Kari Weis installed as 2019-2021 New York State DAR Registrar

(Chappaqua, NY) Kari Weis, Honorary Regent of the Polly Cooper Chapter, NSDAR took office as the 2019-2021 New York State DAR Registrar on July 1, 2019. In this role, Kari will be responsible for advising and assisting Chapter Registrars in keeping membership records up-to-date and growing membership across the state.
Kari was the Organizing Chapter Regent of the Polly Cooper Chapter, established on May 5, 2017 in Chappaqua, NY, and serves in various capacities at the district, state, and national levels. Among other accolades, Kari received the 2015 Merry Ann T. Wright Outstanding Registrar Award and the 2018 Outstanding Chapter Regent Award, the first Daughter to earn both awards from the New York State Society.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Its members descend from the patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War.
