Close Race In NY Assembly District 93
Chris Burdick is 130 votes ahead of Kristen Browde with all the absentee ballots still uncounted.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Bedford Town Supervisor Chris Burdick racked up 130 more in-person votes in the Democratic Primary for the New York State Assembly in District 93 than his closest rival, New Castle resident Kristen Browde, according to unofficial tallies posted by the New York State Board of Election after primary day Tuesday.
The district runs along Interstate 684 in Westchester County and includes Bedford, Harrison, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, New Castle, North Castle, North Salem, Pound Ridge and White Plains. The current officeholder, David Buchwald, trailed the field of Democrats running for Congress in District 17 at the end of primary day.
Results of the primaries are still weeks away. Unofficial election night results do not include the results of absentee ballot voting. State election officials said county boards of elections have received a historically high number of absentee ballots for all the June 23 primaries due to the coronavirus pandemic.
