Complete Chappaqua 2026 School Board & Budget Election Results Are In

The voters decided on the $150,125,516 Chappaqua schools budget and which candidates will serve on the board of education.

CHAPPAQUA, NY — The ballots are in and voters have decided on the 2026 budget and school board.

Here are the unofficial results.

Voters passed the $150,125,516 school budget 693 to 213. The proposed budget includes a 2.99 percent tax levy increase, which is below the New York State tax cap.

A capital reserve proposition was also approved.

Alissa Dorfman and Matt Auerbach won seats on the school board.

"We sincerely appreciate your continued support as we strive to provide a robust academic learning environment that also emphasizes social-emotional learning," the district said in a statement. "We would also like to take this opportunity to recognize and thank all of our community volunteers who facilitated the voting process with us throughout the day."

The Chappaqua Public Library budget was also approved by voters 761 to 144.

John Harrison was elected to the library board.
