Cops: ID Thief Tried to Drain Bank Account
Westchester police were called to a bank in Mount Kisco.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — A Bronx man who is accused of using a New Hampshire ID to try to get money from someone else's bank account faces charges in Mount Kisco.
Westchester County police arrested Howard Walker May 23 after staff at People’s United Bank on South Moger Avenue alerted them to a possible fraud attempt.
Responding officers located a man who is alleged to have given bank staff a New Hampshire driver’s license and a credit card in the name of another person in an effort withdraw cash from that person’s account.

The 49-year-old was charged with Identity Theft 1 st Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, Attempted Grand Larceny 4 th Degree, and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification.
He was arraigned in Mount Kisco Justice Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of bail.
