DAR Members Celebrate 20 Years of Membership

The NSDAR is open to all women, ages 18 and older, who have a direct line to a Patriot who served in the American Revolution.

From DAR: The Polly Cooper Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was proud to present Janice Smalley with a twenty-year DAR membership anniversary certificate. Chapter regent, Kari Weis, and treasurer, Kathy Schreiber presented the certificate at the chapter meeting on Sunday. Smalley joined DAR with her sister, Nanette Schumacher. Both women have been active in DAR. Smalley has served as treasurer of two other chapters before becoming an organizing member of the new Polly Cooper Chapter. She currently serves as the chapter historian.

Schumacher has served as chapter chaplain and is also an organizing member of the Polly Cooper Chapter. Schumacher was also given a membership anniversary certificate.
