DAR Members Donate Pounds of Jewelry

From Polly Cooper Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution: Members of the Polly Cooper Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) along with generous support from the local community, collected and donated almost 18 pounds of jewelry to the Tamassee DAR School Thrift Store in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountain of Tamassee, South Carolina.

Tamassee DAR School is a private 501(c)3 nonprofit children's home and family services organization offering multi-faceted programs. The profits from the sale of these donations will directly benefit the school whose mission to support children and families in crisis through residential, education, and outreach services.
