Help the community kick off the season to be merry with a tree-lighting event Friday and a menorah-lighting Dec. 12.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Mount Kisco is kicking off the season of holidays with two events scheduled in December. They both take place on the Mount Kisco Village Green.
The Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce will host a tree-lighting ceremony on Friday. "Crafts, Caroling & Santa" starts at 4:30 p.m. (that's for the crafts) and the singing will start at 6 p.m.
Then, on Dec. 12,the first night of Chanukah, a menorah will be lit. That event starts at 6:30 p.m. It will include a student a cappella group from Yeshiva University, a sing-along led by the Kbeats, and refreshments including sufganiyot and potato latkes from Mt. Kisco's G.O. Kosher Delicatessen.
