Here are some of the incidents to which the Westchester County Police responded in Mount Kisco recently.
Friday, March 3 – 10 a.m. – An officer on patrol found a license plate in the 400 block of East Main Street. The vehicle’s owner was contacted and made arrangements to pick up the lost plate at the Westchester County Police precinct on Green Street.
Thursday, March 2 – 12:04 p.m. – Nery Diaz, 51, of Lexington Avenue was charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree, a misdemeanor, after he locked himself inside a bathroom at the Mount Kisco Public Library. Nery had previously been given a notice from the library barring him from the facility until Aug. 1 because of past problems.

11:10 a.m. – A village resident reported to Westchester County Police that someone stole his son’s iPhone the night before at a business on North Bedford Road. The boy put the phone down briefly and it was gone when he went to retrieve it.
8:33 a.m. – A Hillside Avenue resident told Westchester County Police that she observed a man a day earlier come on to her property and look at a package that had been delivered to the house. When she confronted him, he told her he was looking for a woman named “Jessica” and then he left.

Wednesday, March 1 – 5 p.m. – Mark Morales, 49, who is homeless, was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, after Westchester County Police found him in possession of $18.21 worth of merchandise that he allegedly took from Target on North Bedford Road. He was arrested while being interviewed outside the store about a complaint that he had harassed some shoppers at Stop N Shop.
Tuesday, Feb. 28 – 6:54 p.m. – Security at Northern Westchester Hospital Center reported to Westchester County Police that a drone crashed to the ground near the North Building, almost striking an employee walking nearby. The drone was turned over to county police.
Monday, Feb. 27 -- 10:38 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Barker Street on a report that a man was slumped over at a bus stop. Officers determined the man was dozing and was not in any medical distress.
