DWI, Dog Bites Dog, Tires Slashed: Police Blotter Mount Kisco

Here are some of the incidents to which Westchester County police responded from the Green Street precinct.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the incidents to which the Westchester County Police responded in Mount Kisco last week.

Friday, May 24 – 7:41 a.m. — Westchester County Police responded to St. Francis of Assisi Church on Green Street on a report that a man was having chest pains and feeling faint. Westchester EMS and the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded. The man was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Thursday, May 23 – 2:36 p.m. – A resident of Regent Drive came to the Westchester County Police precinct on Green Street to complain that a neighbor had verbally harassed a visitor to her home.

2:21 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Stewart Place after a mental health counselor reported that a client had left a message saying she was going to harm herself. Officers made contact with the woman and she agreed to be taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for evaluation.

12:34 a.m. – A Moore Avenue resident was arrested on charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7 th Degree, misdemeanors, following a traffic stop. An officer initially observed a vehicle traveling on East Main Street at a high rate of speed and without a front license plate. The driver, who was pulled over on Moore Avenue, failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody. A vaping cartridge containing cannabis oil was found in his vehicle. Christian Monroy, 21, was booked at the Green Street precinct and released pending a June 6 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.

Wednesday, May 22 – 4:54 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Grove Street after a resident reported that her dog was bitten by another dog. The woman said she was walking her dog when the other animal ran from a front yard and attacked her dog. A village animal control officer responded to take the report.

12:15 p.m. – A Connecticut man was charged Forgery 3 rd Degree, a misdemeanor, after he was observed driving a vehicle on Moore Avenue with a fraudulent Texas temporary license plate. He was also issued summonses for having no registration or insurance. Miguel Rodas-Alonzo, 36, of Monroe was booked at the Green Street precinct and released pending a future court appearance.

10:02 a.m. – A Valley View Terrace resident reported that someone slashed three tires on his car while it was parked in his driveway overnight. He had to replace the tires at accost of $738.

Tuesday, May 21 – 6:48 p.m. – An employee at Five Guys on North Bedford Road requested that officers take possession of a pocketbook that had been left behind by a customer. As an officer was responding, the owner returned to retrieve the bag.

12:36 p.m. – An employee at Party City on Main Street was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, after store management alleged that she had engaged in refund fraud. Carmen Velez, 39, of Carmel is accused of taking SKU numbers from displayed merchandise, entering them into her register as if the merchandise had been purchased, and then making a refund transaction on to her personal debit card.

10:34 a.m. – Michelt Claudett, 37, of Rome Avenue, Bedford Hills was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Driving Without a Required Interlock Device, misdemeanors, following a traffic stop on Kisco Avenue at the Saw Mill River Parkway. He was released on $100 bail pending a June 13 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.

Monday, May 20 – 2:47 p.m. – Travis Miller, 31, of Jamaica, Queens, was charged with Grand Larceny 4 th Degree after he stole a wallet containing multiple credit cards from a shopping cart at a store on North Bedford Road.
