End In Sight For Chappaqua Street Improvement Work
Sidewalks will be finished and trees planted by mid-October.

CHAPPAQUA, NY — The end is in sight for residents and businesses who've coped with the infrastructure and streetscape improvements in Chappaqua for two years. New Castle Town Supervisor Rob Greenstein offered this timeline:
- Sidewalks by 10/4
- Pavers on South Greeley Avenue by 10/4
- Trees going in the week of 10/4
- All pavers by 10/11
- Bluestone by 10/18
- Final pave the week of 10/11
- Final Project (punch list items) completion by 11/22
"We have 55 out of 62 trees ready to go. We have 27 planters on hand," he said. "Our street furniture (benches, tables & umbrellas) has shipped and we expect it to arrive soon."
Greenfield cited a long list of finish work finished recently, from capping the sitting wall on Woodburn Avenue by Pizza Station to grading and pouring sidewalks in a new update about the project. Find the update on the town's website.
